Dr.  Bacha received his Medical Degree from the University of Aleppo in 1993 then went to training in Internal Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital, a New York Medical College/Cornell University Affiliated Hospital. 

Dr. Bacha has been Board Certified in Internal Medicine since 1998 and has been a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

He also serves as Civil Surgeon for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.

He is an active Board Member of Aledade (a physician-owned and operated Accountable Care Organization (ACO).

 

Dr. Bacha has been committed to the Mountain State early on since he started his Internal Medicine in1998.

 

He has a strong commitment to primary care practices and disease management as well as prevention. 

 

Dr. Bacha envisions a primary care module for the future to be focused on early screening and aggressive, advanced management to avoid the long-term consequences of chronic illnesses.

Mountain State Health & Wellness has adopted many novel screening methods for vascular, cardiac & metabolic disease as well as cancer screening.  

 

Dr. Bacha is married to Dr. Youmna Mousattat,  Associate Professor of Pediatrics at WVU, and together are raising four children.
